CHALLENGE:
Offshoot Design was selected by our firm while interviewing web development firms on behalf of another client. We would work closely for this client managing website development, back-end implementation and CRM infrastructure. Still, critical deadlines were being missed. How could we help?
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
Diamond Strategies was asked to help Offshoot with the video production aspect of the client’s website and hiring the videographer on what content should be said. We also handled the project management for Offshoot, feeding hours of staff members into a system and charting the deadlines they were providing for clients. Unfortunately, what our work revealed was that several developers were not accurate with their project deadline estimations and were overlapping with one another. With people pulling proposal documents right and left internally, nobody bothered to lay those timelines on top of each other.
To quickly reverse course, Diamond Strategies created a new folder structure for the agency to collaborate while evaluating new environments in the cloud for Offshoot to adopt, such as the Google Suite.

RESULTS:
Offshoot received the wake-up call they needed to hit their deadlines in a more timely fashion while giving more proper spacing between crucial milestones. This way, the agency could get a much better sense of how projects were moving along and which team members were responsible. Greater efficiency would mean more revenue, more profitability and greater scalability.
